Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report tothe Marion facilityon a full-time basis.
The Role: TheGM environmental team is geared towards developing creative solutions to complex environmental challenges. As an Environmental Engineer at General Motors you will have the opportunity to champion the air waste and water compliance programs and be responsible for developing programs to reduce environmental risk. You will work cross functionally with diverse groups to build and implement best-in-class sustainable solutions to improve environmental compliance and sustainability across the site. As an Environmental Supervisor you will be working in an exciting manufacturing environment and be a part of a team fulfilling GMs Vision of Zero Crashes Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion.
The GM Environmental Supervisor position focuses on environmental oversightat their local plant plant partnership initiatives and process control improvements. Additionally the Environmental Supervisor as a People Leader will lead a team of professionals that supportadditionalfacilities across theregion.
