Mapfre Insurance is seeking highly motivated, intellectually curious college students to join our Actuarial Summer Internship Program for a 10-week internship from June 6th - August 13th in Webster, Massachusetts .

As an Actuarial Intern, you'll contribute to real business initiatives with lasting impact, gain insight into multiple actuarial functions, and expand your professional network through job shadowing, cross-functional collaboration, and interaction with leaders across the organization.
What You'll Do
Analyze large datasets and provide actionable business insights
Assist in building, enhancing, and refining actuarial models and tools
Present findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership
Collaborate with actuarial professionals and cross-functional teams on strategic business projects
Participate in actuarial and insurance training sessions, networking opportunities, and community volunteer activities
What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Completion of at least one actuarial exam
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or SAS is a plus

Pay Transparency: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Pay Range : $29.00 - $31.00/hr
